Naomi's photos came out incredible! She hammed up the camera... but really, the day was, well, CHAOTIC!
First, I brought Nicolina because I figured she'd enjoy some fresh air, and Joe was in the middle of some pretty heavy spring yard clean up, so I decided to take her (FIRST MISTAKE).
I was planning to stop at Maiya's to grab her props for the session then head to the park before her to scout out a spot and set up. I planned to pack it all in the stroller and let Nicolina chill. She's usually so content. But, we decided to just ride together.
So we get there, & I realized that I left some things we needed to set up the props in my trunk! SHIT! So while we tried to make due, I called Joe to bring the missing items to us!
In the meantime, Nicolina was FREAKING OUT! & I knew that Naomi was going to do great, as long as we didn't f$%@ around long enough for her to get fussy, as all babies do in a different place. Sometimes, though some food can do the trick!
Maiya tried to calm Nicolina down as I placed Naomi in some great light and let her do her thing. We went for the big sha-bang, Naomi with her tacos... so we set the stand (SECOND MISTAKE) & placed the tacos, that fell over, duh, then smashed all over the ground before I could even snap a photo... so we did what any other mom would do... improvise.
We headed to a garden with a gorgeous iron fence, and started to set up the decos! Joe then showed up with some of the items I needed & we actually turned out with some FANTASTIC photos... see below for some mom reality of these photos & to find out what is really in the tacos!
Bet you'd never think this was actually a frustrating moment #inreallife
In this Photo, Maiya is actually trying to wrangle Naomi & get her to look at me. We are probably both using ridiculously high pitched voices, making all kinds of noises and sounds to get her to smile... but instead they turned out to be super organic, making them even more meaningful!
See in the photo above where she dropped her bink? With such sass girlfriend!
What's actually in the tacos?
When we set the stand of tacos down next to Naomi, she touched the stand & it fell over because we had it on a little uneven walkway. The tacos spilled everywhere! This was mid meltdown of the whole thing. But when Maiya suggested we head to the garden to set up, the whole thing took a turn for total CUTENESS! We still has shells so I throw some crunched up leaves into the shells and BOOM. tacos!
