Hair Loss? Thin Hair? -Here's The Magic Product You NEED To Try!

I've ALWAYS had thin, fine hair; a combo that just isn't ideal! Because it's so fine, pieces stick to my face & I can never find them! So usually, you'll catch me with my hair up, or at least half up some how, to keep it out and off of my face! When down, sometimes I'll add clip-in extensions. But not unless I have the time to really blend and tease them into my hair, again, because they're harder to blend in & cover.

About 6 months postpartum, I really started to notice even more thinning, which was frustrating to deal with on a hectic work morning. I bout a "mom"baseball hat and started to wear it EVERYWHERE! I now have a collection of about 3 hats I wear often.

I reached out on a local mom Facebook page, where a friend from high school, Meghan, gave me some AMAZING advice. If you're local to Pittsburgh, she owns Tantigua Tanning Salon in Springdale! The following are the secrets she dished to along with some more I've tips I've come across that don't break the bank & truly work!

1. Try to keep your hair as loose and free falling as possible. Stay away from tight scrunchies, Try braids, loose ponies & low buns to keep from damaging. I use clips ALL THE TIME to pull my hair back, even for loose top knots!

2. Use a sulfate-free shampoo & conditioner. I actually only use shampoo because my hair gets too greasy when I use conditioner! I picked this guy up from Walgreens, Studio 35's SensitiveSkin Shampoo for 7 bucks! It's easier to brush out after you let it dry ALMOST fully (but not completely). Don't wash every day, Go a couple days! Buy a cute baseball hate for really bad days!

3. Take your prenatal or a hair, skin & nails vitamin.

4. Stay away from heat as much as possible. I tend to just use heat on special occasions, however my hair is pretty straight!

5. Since my hair still isn't super thick, I do occasionally use some Toppik when I'm feeling blah! Don't use too often though as this could clog your hair follicles. Use eye shadow too!

6. Okay, now this stuff is pure magic! My older dog had a few little bald patches himself, and as he was watching me one evening in the bathroom, I put some product on his patches (maybe in 3 instances) & his fur is completely back you guys! SERIOUSLY! I'm always skeptical of things but I'm telling you I can't even find where these patches were! My husband even noticed! Jamaican Black Castor Oil is the stuff! I ordered mine from Amazon for about $12, but you can pick it up at Sally's as well! I put this in my hair sometime after getting home from work on hair wash days. I let it sit in my hair for as long as time allows (I've even slept in it on weekends). I recommend shampooing at least twice to get it all out! I often miss some and have a grease patch in my hair. But I'm telling you, even after one use, my hair felt softer, healthier, & a bit more voluminous. I use the castor oil on my skin, eyebrows & lashes as well & have totally noticed a difference! If you don't beleive me, see for yourself!

The before was taken March 20, & After, May 29 (no Toppik or eye shadow was used here)
