Hey there, I'm Lydia, 26 years old from Pittsburgh! My husband is Joe & our sweet girl is Nicolina Rae. We have 2 dogs, Sampson (Pittbull) and Bailey (Pittbull/ Lab Mix) whom Nicolina adore! She loves when they lick her toes, and when they bark, she giggles!

Maiya & I met in college through a mutual friend. They first thing Maiya ever said to me was "oh cool you're 21, can you buy me beer" The rest, they say is history! But seriously, Maiya & I hit it off from the beginning, with our go-with-the-flow attitude, the same humor, & same interests! Maiya is 3 years younger than me, but I ALWAYS forget that! In college, I studied Graphic Design and Maiya studied Fine Arts, so we had some of the same studio classes. This meant long hours in the studio & all nighters! Although we've only been friends for 6 or so years, those hours really made up for lost time of not being friends.

Maiya also got to witness my relationship with Joe blossom, she was there from the start! Joe & I met through a mutual friend when I was coming home from college every weekend to work. He waited every weekend for me to come home, gave me lots of encouragement as I finished school, and most importantly never once was concerned or made me feel guilty when I went out to the bars with my roomies during the week. He also knew my ex lived a block down the street. The trust Joe had in me was remarkable and that's how I knew this guy would be my forever.

We dated for about 3 years before he popped the question. We had been living together sine I graduated from College for about a year. We were out of town, up in the Appalachian Mountains to see a friend graduate from Lock Haven, when he and our best friend Bryan (who was my friend since high school, & that Joe ironically became very great friends with prior to us dating) insisted we check out the view from Hyner View Sate Park. That's where Joe popped the question, on top of this gorgeous mountain. He knew I didn't want anything crazy, you see, I hate attention so I joked if he ever asked me to marry him in front of a huge crowd, I'd say no!

We got married in July of 2017 with Maiya & Bryan standing close by our sides. 4 and a half months later, we got pregnant with Nicolina!
