The Top Apps You Need To Download For Pregnancy & Beyond

If you haven't heard of the following apps, ya need to!

We asked the mommas in our group (if you haven't, join us here!) what apps they liked to use for pregnany and parenting! The #1 app mentioned, I had never heard of!

1. Ovia- Ovia was mentioned by almost all of our commenting moms! I couldn't believe I never heard of it! Ovia Pregnany Tracker was mentioned most, but one Mom Karina, also mentioned Ovia Parenting & Baby Tracker. It looks like Ovia also has a fertility app, Ovia Fertility & Cycle Tracker, which I just downloaded to try out for tracking my cycles! I will defiantly use the pregnancy tracker for the next pregnancy!

2. Baby Tracker- Carly mentions Baby Tracker is perfect for keeping track of feedings, diaper, & pumping! She also explains that multiple people can download and use the app to see what her daughter is up to! This helps keep mom, dad & caretaker in the loop & all on the same page for their sweet baby girl!

3. The Bump- I was obsessed with The Bump when I was pregnant! The layout is so easy to navigate and the illustration of your baby's development as well as your bod's is amazing! My pregnancy lined up with everything this app had to inform me about! They also have great articles regarding specific topics selected per week on all things pregnancy! I loved this!

4. The Wonder Weeks- Baby really fussy? You NEED to check out the Wonder Weeks! This was Maiya's suggestion to me after I had Nicolina! She was suggested it by Karina, and boy is this a life saver! It makes you feel NOT CRAZY & gives you light at the end of the tunnel! It estimates developmental leaps bases on your baby's age (calculated by weeks) letting you know when these changes usually take place, what to expect, and when your little one could be a bit fussy! Any time I notice Nicolina getting extra fussy, not falling asleep easily, etc. I refer to Wonder Weeks. For example, Nicolina is on her 5th leap, occurring around 26 weeks (6 months), which is Relationships. It's telling me she will become more mobile (YES!), and the distance between things, such as when I walk away, and reacting to being further from her (YES, if moody, she freaks). It shows you a calendar of when to expect these leaps and when baby may be more irritable or happier! If you're planning a vacation this summer, this may help plan when to travel so that you aren't traveling with a fussy babe!

5. What To Expect- Mom Ashley, swears by What to Expect! I haven't used it myself, however it looks super user friendly, with an ever cuter color scheme! I'm a sucker for a great esthetically pleasing app!

6. Sprout Baby- I used Sprout Baby to record my pumping output & Nicolina's feedings, sleep, & diapers for the first month or two. Trying to remember what baby is doing to relay to your doctor is so overwhelming the first month for the first baby! I couldn't even remember the time I had pumped previously so this helped me MAJOR! Sprout also has Fertility & Period Tracker as well as Sprout Pregnancy.
