Our story of a family of three started soon after my 22nd birthday...
My fiancé (now my hubby) Evan, who I’ve been with for almost 8 years, and I just bought our first home together in August of 2017. It just so happened that we had a vacation with his family planned for the very next day, so as excited as we were for our brand new house, we hit the road and headed to the beach. After returning home we quickly got back to work, we were completely renovating our home, so being as busy as we were, I didn’t even realize that I had missed my period. After a few days of being home I thought, hm I still haven’t gotten my period, maybe I should take a test.
“darker, more pink, DOUBLE lines, again!!”
I took a pregnancy test the morning of August 23rd & a faint double line showed up...I couldn’t even believe it. I ran to the store to get another one & the next one had darker, more pink, DOUBLE lines, again!!
I remember being nervous, excited, but also overwhelmed because we had so much to do in just 9 months.
“I just loved feeling my little baby move all around inside of me”
I loved being pregnant! I got to eat whatever I wanted whenever I wanted (lol), I had very mild morning sickness, and I just loved feeling my little baby move all around inside of me. But as much as I loved all of those moments, I was also scared of the unknown - will everything be ok, am I doing everything I’m “suppose” to to make sure that she is healthy, and other things like, what will delivery be like?
